Sabbatical -- Day 8, Bueno

Way back in the mid-late 1970's while a student at Will Rogers HS in Tulsa my friends and I developed a love for bean burritos from Taco Bueno. Probably its the original salsa that makes them so good. Now, when I make it home to Tulsa I try to fit in Taco Bueno. Sabbatical Day 8 was a Bueno day.

My brother-in-law Dave and his two sons, my nephews, Andrew and Alex escorted me. I had two bean burritos and they were fantastic.

We spent a good amount of time on the back porch visiting, and a good amount of time at Dad's shop using spray foam to seal up holes where bees have gotten in. The dead bees lying around in his shop, and on the floor number in the thousands. Some have stung him. He tried to get them removed humanely. Yesterday we tried to seal up the holes. The amount of bees is staggering.

My brother and his wife and one great niece came up and we all had a good dinner and talked until after dark.

It was a Bueno day.

Peace and Love,
Jerry
